Mission

Digital convergence has made it possible to use the same information and communication technology (ICT) to multiple applcations cross multiple indstries. High productin quantities, rapidly increasing performance and dropping cost of ICT  have made new application economically feasible and profitable and changed structure of industries.

Mission of the ICT Techno-Economics Research Group is to analyze interplay of ICT and economics.

This requires understanding of

• information and communication technology,
• economics of use of the technolgy in organizations and by consumers,
• economics of producers of ICT products and services and
• regulation related to ICT.

Special emphasis is on the viewpoint of providers of ICT and ICT-based products and services.
