András Hegyi, PhD Student
Currently, I am doing my PhD under the supervision of Associate Professor Neil Cronin and Professor Taija Finni, in the field of Biomechanics. For my PhD thesis, I assess the activity of hamstring muscle regions in injury prevention and rehabilitation exercises and high-injury risk tasks (e.g. running) using high-density electromyography arrays and intramuscular electrodes. Ultimately, intra- and intermuscular activity patterns are examined to contribute to more efficient injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
